Guess What We Saw. . .

UP!

Loved it, Kinley loved it! I highly recommend it. Just one thing. . . bring tissues. Don't tell, but Adam even got a little choked up (no pun intended)!

Learning to Swim!

Kinley had her first swim lessons yesterday. She absolutely loved it. When it was over she said she wanted to keep swimming. Our little polly wog! I have signed her up for 2 consecutive lessons so she is swimming until the first part of July, 3 times a week. I love watching her interact with the other kids and learn the basics.

She learned to blow bubbles, kick on her back and her tummy, picked up rings and rubber duckies and slid down a slide all in the first day! It won't be long before she is swimming lapse around me!

All done!

I remember loving swim lessons when I was a kid, so I love that Kinley is loving it too!

Sweet New Ride!

During the Memorial Weekend we got a new car! I wanted a Nissan Pathfinder, but the size wasn't big enough. So Adam won and we got the Honda Pilot. LOVE IT! They were out of stock of the one we wanted so we got a super upgrade for a deal we just couldn't pass up. It has more bells and whistles then I could have ever dreamed of. Never thought I would have a car this nice until I was 60!

The only problem is I am afraid to drive it anywhere. I don't want it to get dirty! I think I will be taking back roads and neighborhoods to the store!

Is It Summer Already?

The weather is telling us YES! We sure are enjoying this hot spell. When you stay wet that is!

Notice the orange stache from her Gatorade!
Kinley has been in her pool for a couple of days in a row now! It is like pulling teeth to get her out! But who can blame her when it is 90 degrees!

Big Birthday Bash!

Adam's birthday was yesterday and we had quite the party. Kinley insisted Daddy needed a car birthday so a car birthday he had. We had balloons, a car cake, party hats and streamers (all at Kinley's request). We went out to dinner and had a fun birthday with just the three of us! Now that our families are getting so big, we really enjoy celebrating our birthdays with just our little family. And having Kinley as the party planner sure takes the pressure off of me, ha ha!

The cake pan asked for 6 1/2 cups of batter. I think that was a little too much!

But it turned out just fine!

All finished!
The Birthday Boy and super cute Kinley in the party hats!
Kinley calls us "The Three Amigos", I like it!

Kinley insited on taking a picture. Not too shabby!

The icing turned our tongues blue!

Happy Birthday Adam! We love you!

Mother's Day!

I had such a great Mother's Day weekend. Pampered with dinner, dessert, flowers and gifts. I am so blessed and thankful each day for my little miracle, Kinley Grace. Everyday I keep realizing how much of a miracle she really is! I am truly lucky to have such a beautiful little girl to call my own!

I love you Kinley! Thanks for such a wonderful Mother's Day!

Pizza Party

A little neighbor boy was selling Little Caesar Pizza kits for his lacrosse team fundraiser. Since I am so nice, I bought one and a crazy bread kit too!

So Saturday night we had a pizza party. We each made our own personal pizzas and Kinley had a great time because she could load it up with as much cheese as she wanted!

ready for the oven

YUMMY!

They tasted so good! Good thing the kit came with 18 pizzas to make! It looks like it will be a pizza party for the next few Saturday nights!

Fuzzy and Comfy!

We were at Gardner Village last week enjoying the beautiful weather and we were in one of my favorite stores "Just Us Girls" and saw the most cutest fuzzy chair! Once my eyes beheld it I knew that Kinley just had to have it! It was purple and would match her room perfectly and go with her fuzzy purple rug. Well they were out of stock and had to order me one. It came yesterday!

Kinley has eaten her snacks in it, cuddled with her animals in it, read stories in it. I think it is a success! Besides, every girl should have a fuzzy, comfy chair right?
