Christmas Day

Adam and I woke up at 7:30 and couldn't wait for Kinley to finally wake up. We turned on the Christmas Tree lights and music and finally she woke up a little after 8. She walked out to see what Santa had brought her and she excitedly screamed "a bike"!! And then busily looked to see what else she had gotten.

After Santa Came!
the blizzard we awoke to
her bike!
A puzzle from cousin Ryley
Her giant Care Bear (he came every where with us that day)
A special Care Bear book
She even loved getting clothes!
Grandma Sheldon gave her an apron so now she
can really help me cook!

Then we went to my aunt's house and exchanged gifts with my Mom's side of the family and Kinley got Play-Doh which she couldn't wait to play with. And of course Aunt Brie said "Yes"!

Then we went over to Grandma & Grandpa Posey's and opened more gifts!! She got her Winnie the Pooh Tree and was so excited. She even helped cousin Elle open one too!

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Sheldon's house and opened even more presents. Our car looked like we had robbed a Toys R Us store when we were done.

There is nothing like the joy of seeing a child's face on Christmas. It just keeps getting better every year. Adam and I are truly blessed and are very thankful for the wonderful Christmas we were able to have. And thanks to all for making that possible! Now we are bracing ourselves for 2009!

Our Christmas Eve

We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Posey's house for Christmas Eve dinner and had enough food to feed an army. Grandma went way overboard and it was sooooo good! We had Honey Baked Ribs and sub sandwiches, salads, dips and more. It was a lot of fun.

Amy read Kinley a Christmas story

Hangin' out!

Kinley was so worn out she went right to sleep that night so Santa could come! I will post our very busy (but fun) Christmas Day in a couple of days!

Christmas Eve!

Our stockings are hung by the chimney with care
in hopes that St. Nick will soon be here!
(Even Ralphie has one!)

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good Night!

More Cookies...Chocolate Chip!

Kinley and I braved the weather and went to Grandma's house to bake more cookies. I am glad we did. It was a lot of fun. We listened to Christmas music and baked, and baked and baked. Kinley is really enjoying herself in the kitchen lately. What a little helper.

Sneaking a little taste of the choco chips!

Gotta taste it first!

Are they done yet?

Mmmmmmm!

I don't think our counter has anymore room for baked goods. Looks like I better put on the givin' pants this season!

A Second Chance

We went to our Ward Christmas Party Saturday night and had a wonderful time with friends and some yummy food. Then we got a surprise visit from the big man himself. Kinley was a little more willing this time and sat right on his lap! She didn't hesitate to tell him she wanted a bike. Hope Santa heard loud and clear!

Wainting in line to see Santa

Adam got a cute one of Kinley cuddling with Mommy!

Kinley wanted to take a picture. Extreme close-up!!

SANTA!

Only a few days to go! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Mmmm....Cookies!

Kinley and I have had THE FUNNEST WEEK! We have all our shopping done so we have been able to be home and enjoy the weather! We have been turnin' up our Christmas music and dancin' and of course shakin' all the presents under the tree (daily)!! We have been in the kitchen bakin' up a storm too! We did carmels (for the first time and yummy!) and sugar cookies. Kinley loved the cookies and loved "washing her hands" in the flour and she called it. Then next week we are going to Grandma's house to bake some more. Yipeeee!

Adam and I are just giddy with excitement this year for Santa to come! We can't wait to see the look on Kinley's face when she walks out Christmas morning to see her gifts! Playing Santa is so fun and rewarding too! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It's Snow Time!

We had some wonderful snow over the past few days and Kinley just couldn't sit inside any longer. Adam went out to shovel the driveway after dinner and Kinley was right behind him. I was only able to get a few pics 'cause my batteries died. What a cute little Snow Bunny!

It took bribing her with hot chocolate to get her to finally come in. She absolutely loves the snow!
