Dr. Seuss Baby Shower!

My sister is having her first baby at the end of May and so my sister-in-law and I threw her a Dr. Seuss baby shower since she didn't find out the sex of the baby.  It was super fun and we had a blast planning and throwing it!

The prizes for winning the games.  They had Jamba GC's hooked to them!
We gave out pinwheels to all the guest at the end of the shower and made this cute photo album to put all of the shower pictures in!

A table was set up so everyone could sign a message in her book.
We  had truffula trees all over!

How many Cat in the Hats will fit around her belly?
We had a photo booth set up where all the guests could dress up and frame themselves!
Advice cards that were filled out and placed in the photo album we put together with all of the pictures.
All the guests!
She got a ton of great stuff and I can't wait until my niece or nephew is here so I can spoil them silly!

Easter!

On Saturday we dyed Easter Eggs. All of the kids really enjoyed that! The twins were almost a little too excited and had to keep stopping them from tipping over the egg dye!

Then after dying eggs we had a little family night to remind us the reason we celebrate Easter and Kinley gave us a talk on the Savior and his resurrection. She is absolutely amazing! Easter Sunday was filled with an Easter Egg hunt, Church, dinner with the Sheldon's and dessert with the Posey's. Fun, fun, fun!

Double Trouble Indeed!

I was folding laundry one day and when I came out to put stuff away this is what I found...

Look close, yes that is
A LOT OF GLITTER on the carpet!

So of course being the crazy mom that I am I grabbed the camera! Whatta gonna do? Actually the funny thing is my first reaction was "at least it is the gold glitter!" I hate the color gold and have no idea why I even possessed such a color of glitter so they actually did me a favor! I think the carpet is still sparkling! I better buckle up because I know there is more of this double trouble to come!

My Baby No More!

I finally gave in to all of the "he needs a haircut" remarks and let Adam cut Trevin's hair. I was reluctant to do it before his second birthday because I knew that it would make him look older and give him that "big boy" look. But I gave the ok last weekend and even though I shed a few tears, he looks pretty darn handsome!

Before

After (he was pretty sick of sitting still
so this is the best pic I could get!)

It is so hard to see them growing up and not being my babies anymore. Oh well, on the the next phase, toddlers!
