Christmas Day!

It was a great Christmas at the Posey house. On Christmas Eve we had a wonderful dinner with my family and enjoyed spending time with Grandma Sheldon who flew in from Albuquerque for the holidays.

Christmas morning was a joy as Kinley's face lit up to the fact that Santa had visited our house. She thought she was only allowed four presents from Santa so when she opened up her doll stuff she got so excited and said "I thought I wasn't going to get this until next year. Santa must have thought I was a really good girl!" I love the belief a child brings.

Both of them got their Transformers! So happy!

We enjoyed the rest of the day visiting family and eating way too much! It comes and goes way too fast, but we know we are very blessed and grateful for the birth of the Savior. Kinley would tell us the Christmas Story every night and it is so great to know she knows the "Reason for the Season"!

All I Want for Christmas...

is a Tinkerbell house, bendaroos, blendy markers and a Jungle in My Pocket Panda Hut! Not too long of a list, I think Santa can pull it off!

Our house is brimming with excitement and a four year old that is squealing every 10 minutes that she is "soooo excited"! This will be a fun year! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

We Are Seeing Double!

We are so excited to announce we are having TWINS!!

Baby 1

Baby 2
The Twins!
The Posey Twins are to make their debut in late May/early June! Kinley is already the protective Big Sister making sure I have a blanket "so the twins stay warm" and listening to them with her stethoscope to make sure "they sound good". When we heard the heartbeats at the last appointment Kinley said "is that them laughing?"

We are overjoyed with our two new blessings!

Kinley Turns 4!

We've had an eventful few days celebrating Kinley's 4th Birthday. We had my family over Monday night for a little Scooby Doo party.

Then on her birthday (Tuesday) we had Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast and I gave her her first suprise...she has been begging me for days to "draw" on her self with her washable markers. So I told her she could go to town after she ate all her breakfast. She was way too excited for this! It all came off in the shower!

I took a few pics of her all dressed up for a night on the town! Loving the silver!!

She picked Chuck-E-Cheese as her birthday dinner and we had so much fun! The pizza wasn't even half bad!

Then it was home for more gifts! I have no idea where this is all gonna go!

Her own scrapbook stuff! I love having a scrap buddy!
It was a great celebration and she can't wait to celebrate with The Posey's on Thanksgiving! Happy Birthday to my beautiful little girl!

Halloween Fun!

A couple of nights before Halloween we had a pumpkin carving party! Adam loves pumpkin seeds and this year he has enough to last until Christmas!

Kinley wanted Adam to carve Ralphie so she drew him a picture of what it should look like!

Here was the final Ralphie pumpkin! Not too bad!

Here we are at the Ward Party!

I kept pushing for Kinley to be a witch just because I thought it would be cute, but she insisted on being a scarecrow. I think she made the right choice! Cutest scarecrow I've ever seen!

Everytime you asked her what she was she would stick her arms out just like the scarecrows do. So that is how she posed for all the pictures.

She had a lot of fun and brought home a lot of candy for me, I mean her!

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch and got our pumpkins. It was a little cold, but found success!

Now the fun part...carving them into something ghoulish!
