24th of July

For the 24th of July we went with my family to the RSL soccer game. It was our first one and it was a lot of fun. I had my doubts that it would be a little boring, but we can't wait to go to another one!

After the game we got to go down onto the field to watch fireworks. They were put to music and it was one of the best displays we have seen in a long time. I could see this becoming a yearly tradition!

No we are getting ready for Montana and then Bryce Canyon! Busy summer!

Vegas Baby!

We had an absolutely fabulous time in Las Vegas! The first night we met up with everyone and went to dinner at Tony Romas.

Then we played on Fremont Street where they play music and have a light show. Kinley liked dancing to the live bands.

Kinley took this one!

At the hotel Kinley said she needed to get a little
reading done and pulled out the phone book!

Practicing her flower girl duties at the rehearsal.

Saturday we went to lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. That was super awesome and Kinley liked the thunderstorms that happened during lunch.

We got cool light-up cups!

After lunch we went to the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, but Kinley needed to take a little nap first! She fell asleep on the bench while we were waiting in line to buy tickets.

Kinley loved taking up her whole queen bed!

Getting ready for the wedding! (Notice her chin. She scraped
it on a rock the night before playing hide-n-seek
at the rehearsal dinner! Figures!)

She is so stinkin' cute, pretty, adorable, lovely, precious . . .

Walking down the isle! She was perfect!
She made sure she got out every last petal!

It's dance time!

This video is a little dark, and sideways, but Kinley loved the dancing!

It was really hot, average was about 110 degrees, but we had a blast! Who knew Vegas could be so fun?

Getting Ready for Vegas!

We leave for Las Vegas soon and we did a little primping to get ready for the trip. I took Kinley to my hairdresser to get her first real hair cut. I trim her bangs but she has never had a full shampoo, cut and blow dry before. Since she is going to be the cutest flower girl ever we got her hair evened up! Angie did a great job. I think Kinley enjoyed being pampered! True girl!

Then we had a little girl time (I can't wait till Kinley is older so she can come too! Maybe next summer!) Gotta love the spa pedicure! Now we all have cute feet for those flip flops in 100+ degrees!

Hopefully this Vegas trip will go 100% better than last years Vegas trip (when Kinley broke her arm)! What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. . .

Lagoon Magoon!

That is what Kinley calls it. We went to Lagoon Thursday for Adam's summer work party. Having a kid makes things so much more fun! She asked us all week if it was Thursday yet so we could go to Lagoon Magoon!

My sister and mom came with us and then after dinner my brother and his fiance (yes he got engaged over the 4th of July weekend, Yipeeee!) and Brie's boyfriend met up with us.

We got there around noon and spent the first half of the day at Lagoon-a-Beach. Kinley went down water slides and loved floating in the lazy river. She is such a water lover! We even got my mom to go down a tube slide with us and she didn't tip once, but then trying to climb out of the pool she slipped on the stairs and fell in. Super funny!

Then we hit the rides...

Puff was her favorite. She rode it three times!
I love her face in this pic!

In line for the Haunted House!

Being silly on the carousel!

This was a new one, the dino drop. It takes you up then
drops you down (gently). It was one my favorites!

Aunt Brie and Uncle Cam won her the monkey
and Daddy won her the dog!

Kinley has no fear. She went on everything she could. She rode Rattlesnake Rapids and got soaked and when it was finished asked if we could ride it again. I love my brave little girl! I also rode the tilt a whirl (the whip is what we call it) with my mom and Brie and I laughed so hard I was crying. That is one of our favorites and I couldn't tell you the last time we were able to ride that together. We thought we would be going home around 8pm, but we didn't leave until 10:30pm after the park had closed. We had so much fun and that grin didn't leave Kinley's face all day!

4th of July Weekend!

WOW! We had THE FUNNEST 4th of July weekend. It was jam packed with activities. First we took Kinley to her last day of swim lessons, heavy sigh. It was so fun to watch her learn so much I am sad they are over! The video is of her putting her face in, but she now puts her head completely underwater all by herself! That is big!

Then we had a picnic and played at the splash park for a few hours.

After dinner we took Kinley bowling for the first time. Talk about the cutest thing ever. She insisted on doing it herself and didn't do to bad. Our games took about an hour to play because it took about 5 minutes for Kinley's ball to make it down the alley, but we had a total blast. Our second game was even Cosmic where it was dark with blacklights and she thought that was pretty fun and busted a few moves to the music!

Then we came home and did some sparklers!

On the 4th we had my sister Brienne and her friend Don come over for a super yummy BBQ! Kinley swam and showed us her cool new goggles!

After the BBQ we all headed to Riverton to see the firworks and play on the swings!

It was such a fun weekend it was sad to see it gone. We had great weather, food and fun! Whatelse could you ask for? Perfect!
