A Day With A Friend!

Saturday I was out washing the cars and outside windows of the house (I know I am a good worker!), Adam was weeding and Kinley played with her friend from across the street, Brinley. They were playing so cute I couldn't resist taking pictures!

Lunch Time

It is so nice to have some friends that are the same age as Kinley in the neighborhood. They had a great time together and Adam and I got a lot done!

Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day weekend. I am so blessed to be married to a man that is such a wonderful dad to our beautiful little girl! She looks just like him! No wonder she is so cute!

I love these two together! I just sit back and watch them play and read stories together and I can't help but smile and be so grateful for my little family! Truly blessed!

A Fishing We Will Go!

Saturday was fish without a license day so we did just that! Herriman has a man made fishing pond that is just 5 minutes from our house (Adam loves that he can go fishing after dinner) and since the weather held out for us we spent the day there. I caught a fish after only about 15 minutes of being there (nothing really to speak of, but Kinley insisted on keeping it). Then after lunch Kinley had a great bite, but unfortunately, it got away. Then shortly after Adam caught a tiny little blue gill. Kinley said "it was just her size".

I love this pic!
After some fishing we spent some time enjoying the little park and Kinley had a blast on the slides.

It was a great weekend, and like always, went way too fast!

I Can't Believe It's Time!

We bought this pink case and Book of Mormon for Kinley when she was about 6 months old. We kept them hidden until we felt it was the right time to give them to her. Her primary class has been encouraging the kids to bring scriptures to church and each time they do they donate a penny to the missionary fund. So Sunday at family night we decided to present her with her very own scriptures. She squealed with delight and immediately started marking them with a red pencil and even read us a story about Jesus from them. The most precious thing ever! I love how she is just absorbing the gospel and learning and loving it too!

I can't believe it was time to finally give her the pink case with her own Book of Mormon so soon! Time goes by way too fast!
